lol, he can't even sniff Izzo's jock strap, not only in regards coaching but the MANAGEMENT of running a college basketball team in general. Fran isn't even close to the being in the same league as Izzo, as much as it pisses me off to say that. Unfortunately though, it's true.

Even the kings of finesse North Carolina won a physical grinder v Virginia last night.

Teams played progressively more physical defense on Uthoff during the year and he disappeared in a lot of games. Makes one wonder if he can make it in the NBA

Until Fran figures out how to change the culture of softness in his program, we will not sniff any type of championship (pre-season tournaments, BTT or NCAA). MSU just finds ways to win and I would say this year could be one of Izzo's best coaching jobs due to what I perceive as less than usual MSU talent.

Purdue gave them a good test, just had some poor shot selection late. I don't recall Hammonds touching it in the last 3 minutes.
