Hello everyone,

I have a few minutes to burn waiting in my car so I decided to check in.

Downtown Ft. Lauderdale is fuked. I had to meet with our mechanics at 5:30am at a hospital account. From 95 to downtown the entire Broward blvd 6 lanes were under water: the edge lanes were multiple ft deep. There had to have been 300 cars that were left in the road . It was like a scene in the apocalypse movies. Tow trucks everywhere.

On a sad note, a ton of those cars were broken into. I witnessed several in the act. Just walking car to car smashing the window and grabbing stuff.

Only one runway will be up for awhile. It’s going to be a mess. Sounds like a lot of bubbling on taxiways as well. The EMAS on the north runway is ****ed along with the instrument landing system equipment.
