Mooney looks like a really good guard. Flack had some ups and also was pretty good. They are a solid team, but Iowa shouldn't lose at home to them and we didn't. I thought CW looked pretty over matched at Point guard--loose handles and dribbles too much and not a threat to shoot.

Uhl and Wagner played pretty well defensively.

Ft shooting was horrific tonite too. I sure hope they start playing better again. Ellingson has returned as a big zero again. SD played really well. Mooney is a handful, very impressive. And Dickerson looked good. To bad he left, imo, and I can't believe he has another year to play. Go Hawks.

We won by double digits to a team that was their conference champion. There is plenty to celebrate. I prefer 1/2 glass full

Moss, Jbo, Cook all with GREAT games.

Jok found his shooting stroke.

Pemsl with his normal workmanlike performance.

Kriener hit a nice jump shot.

Uhl did stroke a 3 although he missed it I thought it was in off his hand!

Mooney schooled Ellingson with 3 3 pointers in his face. Ellingson is not getting better. CMac better play before Ellingson. Williams and Ellingson leave a lot to be desired. Backup guards offer no offense and poor defense. Not a good recipe for success. Williams back problems may still be affecting him but his dribbling handles are weak. Brady is worse.

We survived the mugging, and I hope never to see that team again. TCU was beaten by the Clowns twice this year, but they'll be tough anyway.

I've been as big a supporter of Ellingson as anyone, but that was his worst game of the season. Really bad.

Even today's game was a moving target with apparently both Dish Network and DirectTV not updating their programming listings last night to reflect the time change for the game. Hope not too many people got bit into recording the Syracuse game instead.

Agree, we kept SD in the game the first half with too many boneheaded low percentage passes. Also not tough enough in securing the 50-50 balls and rebounds. Best case scenario though, SD puts up good fight, Iowa makes enough mistakes to avoid complacency, yet gets a solid win.
