The gun industry is worth $30 billion a year, which is astounding. Astounding because guns are durable goods. They aren't used up instantly and have to be replaced daily like cigarettes. They will last year after year after year. A few guns could last a lifetime. And yet the gun industry is still doing $30 billion worth of business each year. That's a whole lot of people getting suckered into buying a whole lot of guns they don't need simply to prop up the gun industry.
You guys want to waste your money on guns, have at it. But keep in mind that they have a vested financial interest in convincing you that you need more guns.
