With all the trouble at KU, ISU should be embarrassed they went to OT with that shambles of a team. I think 2 more KU guys in trouble for theft, and the rape thing, and the Bragg thing. Unimpressive win.

Good point. After sitting through the Iowa State @ Kansas game yesterday, the one take away I had is how bad the Big 12 is. And, apparently Kentucky is overrated as well.
The Big 12 Bad? It is rated the number one RPI conference and highly regarded about by the college basketball talking talking heads. It is a good conference, without really a bottom. It is tough to go round robin against that. In the Big 10, yes there is good teams, but there is a bottom to the league which means you can catch a break in the schedule and or benefit some years with the unbalanced schedule going in your favor.
This is a stupid thread, probably started by a troll. Iowa beat Iowa State bad this year, without our second leading score. The big 12 is better than the Big Ten this year, and winning at ku was a great win, despite all their crap going in. Finally, isu is going to take a hit next year, losing 6 players out of their rotation, I don't care how good wigginton is.
Why is ISU a lock to make the NCAA? They have a 1 game better record than Iowa. If we win today, we are 1/2 game back. I know Iowa hasn't won any big games, but we have played several close ones that we lost, just as ISU. And the big thing is we beat ISU badly!!!

Iowa has two 4*s and one 3* coming in next year. Likely none of them will be counted on to do much if anything next year.

You know it's rough when you have to pick and chose your recruiting service. So Fran recruited three four stars in a four year stretch and ISU has three coming in next year. Heck throw Jakolby Long in there for Iowa State who was a four star espn recruit last year for ISU. Can't get minutes behind Morris, Long, Thomas, Jackson. So I guess ISU has four, four star caliber newcomers next year. Yeah cupboard is bare though Iowa has so much talent over there.
