Iowa does not recruit post players from schools with a graduating class size of over 20 any more
I have no ‘insider’ information but I would be surprised if she transferred to Iowa, even if she didn’t have to sit out the entire season next year. Iowa has Kate Martin and MaKenna Warnock in the 2023 class and Logan Cook in 2022. Also, Shateah Wetering is commited for the [HS] 2020 class. I think it would be more likely for her to transfer to Drake.

I believe that may be my third post like that. Chances are low that the punting will be as poor as it is currently in 10 years so I am guessing no.

I have no idea if there is any interest, but don't we have two open? By my counts, the current roster has 13 scholarship players. We have three seniors and three signed recruits. The women's limit is 15. For better or worse, Bluder rarely uses all of them.

It has been recently reported that Iowa may still be pursuing a late signee for 2019. Jelena Mitrovic, a 6’9” center from Serbia has said that Iowa is one of her four remaining choices.

If they don't have injuries then a player or 2 don't see the floor as often as they like and this causes discord in the locker room and within the squad. Lisa wants one big happy family. Lisa likes to play only 7 or 8 anyway, it seems.
If Iowa isnt interested, it looks like the ISU ladies team has brought in several transfers over the past few years. Dont be surprised if she ends up in Ames.
I don’t follow closely but it feels that injuries are a pretty consistent issues and from the outside it feels like there are enough transfers that the locker room has challenges with just 13 as well. I just seem to recall a story line of ‘playing shorthanded’ If that isn’t a consistent issue then I don’t pay close enough attention and will listen to the other viewpoints.
I am usually pretty indifferent about gathering ‘likes’ but it seems my post was received well.
lots of college freshmen get away from home for the first time, get home-sick, and want to go home.
Have heard Lisa say on her radio show she tends to avoid having 15 on schollie because it is almost impossible to keep everybody happy and not considering transferring or creating discord on the squad.
The Hawks could really use another post player, especially one that is 6’9”!
We seem pretty lost and vulnerable anytime Megan is in the bench. Czinano is only a freshman, but just doesn’t seem to have what it takes at this point in her career. Of course, the best thing about freshmen is that they become sophomores...
