Good luck homie. Not gonna lie I would have been much more satisfied to stick it to about 6 other big ten teams today... Painter is a lot like McCaffrey. Been around a long time now, isn't a media darling, doesn't have problem players, usually has that one or two season rebuild every once in a while before having a good run with upperclassmen... Despite dealing Iowa a blow on senior night in my stepsons first basketball game 2 years ago, I feel you guys are alright.

One thing that would help you is to have Stefanovic break out of his slump. He normally kills us, but not today. If you guys are hitting 3s, you’re virtually impossible to defend. Best of luck, hope we meet again in April!

I'll tell you what I thought taking Eddy out was the biggest mistake Painter made. That guy was a rebounding black hole. Iowa had no answer for him. First time I've seen Ivey play this season and that kid is going to be a star in the NBA. Williams had some beautiful moves. I had this sinking feeling when Purdue cut the lead to 1 with that 7 pt run. Then CMAC, the guy that only scores 3-4 pts a game gets the and-1. Great game from a Hawks point of view but don't sell your Boilers short, they will make a decent run in the tourney.
