Green Bay v. Detroit ending

The freakish arm strength it takes to throw a football that far and that high. That's some high level athlete shenanigans there.

Quite the ending. Not really a face mask but the Lions simply let a guy stand open at the goal line.

Upgraded to 4* if Alabama offers, 5* if he accepts.
I don't give a flying f**k what they are when they come in to the program...I only care about what they are when they leave.

I don't trust 18 year old boys - do you?!

Let's see how they act when they're 22.

Dude. That was a facemask. No intent - certainly - and the ref behind the play called it, not the guy in front of it - but if they see those hands close and the head turn...they're gonna call it...'specially with a dude like AR @ QB. No question.

PS. I am NOT a Packers fan!!!!

I'll state something that gets mentioned every game, but oh well. On the last play there was a blatant and obvious hold on a lions player that had a direct line to Rodgers for a sack. The Lion player had beaten the Packer lineman and had nothing between him and Rodgers, but the Packer player (#62) hooked him around his waist from behind and slowed him down.

DB, I disagree. The finger grazed the face mask but he did not grab it or catch it. I watch it a few times. The power of the hit made it look like his head was jerked around but it really wasn't a face mask. I don't blame the ref for calling it because I originally thought it was but Rodgers was a runner.

I don't think it was a face mask but I did think it was a horse collar. Looked like his hand was inside the pad.

Just when the Lions can't lion it up anymore, they go do something like that.

Good friend will be joining me for the Iowa-MSU game...he, from Detroit, a fan of the Lions and Michigan...two heart wrenchers for him...last second MSU win vs Wolverines and last second win by Packers last night...ouch. He likes Iowa and wants to see Iowa beat MSU badly...other guy is a Notre Dame fan...wants Iowa to win badly also. Lots of naysayers ahead of the game...but Iowa is picking up fans from other programs! Good for recruiting...
