Bottom line this team was pretty solid early on and everything‘s gone… I have no doubt Jan Jensen is searching like crazy trying to figure it out and if she can’t, she will eventually lose her job, but I’m not confident any of you bozos would do any better

Well said. I look for a pretty good team next year, but I believe the year after when these Frosh are Juniors and Deal's class are sophs and who knows maybe a good freshmen or two, and if Jan can keep all of them, they're going to be pretty tough.

In today's world he probably would have been fired. Different time and different expectations not to mention Coach's were not making millions.
Honestly, and this is gonna be just more of what irritates people, but they don’t honestly understand that, they don’t have any general perspective of what the sports landscape is like. Many of these people are so “in the box“ they aren’t aware that Hall of Fame coaches are getting the same kind of treatment from their fans And if it was as easy as it is from their couches, they would be making $1 million dollars per and in many cases tens of millions of dollars, coaching their own team and fading heat.
And I know there are plenty of people on here that agree with me when I say it’s not fun or entertaining, listening to grown men attempt to point out every mistake they think the coach of their favorite team makes. It adds to the misery of the loss.
It is ironically, considering how many people call mea a “know it all and arrogant” makes them all, know it alls and arrogant 🥳
And I confess, I do love pointing it out…right guys. If they really truly understood, I too am irritated about losing and figure what the hell I just as well point out their hypocrisy and boorish childlike takes😂
I mean, what the hell of course they’re a mistakes being made, but ultimately the players have to execute what the coach wants. The plan can be and often is fine and the players jacked up. And if the coach over a define period of time can’t consistently get their players to “execute” the game plan then they have to be fired..
But it’s honestly not an isolated game to game scenario. In those scenarios The players have to make free throws, they have to value the ball, they have to recognize what they are supposed to do.
I mean, honestly these women have been being coached since they were 10 years old, they ought to know what the hell they’re doing already.
I truly wish these guys would take a coaching position locally where I’m at, and I would sit in the stands and heckle them like crazy!

We out rebounded Nebraska, we shot a higher field goal percentage, we took more shoots from the field and from the free throw line.
With those stats you'd think we had won the game. But we lost by missing 13 free throws and not defending the three point line.
Afforlter played a good game, but she blew a lot of defensive assignments that led to 3s. Jan's defense does not aggressively cover three point territory. If our opponents get hot from 3 point range, we're just screwed.
The good news is we looked good playing uptempo with Guyton.
The key to the rest of the season is simply to shore up the defense and go uptempo with a lineup that can run.
Quit chasing wins. Just play with the passion of last year's team.
Our recruits just want to see a team that is fighting hard and has a bright future. We can do that regardless of our schedule and win/loss record.

I came back to edit this because I do realize you are a decent chap & I am as irritating to you as they are and I sort of feel bad about that. Not a ton but a little… But people continue to miss the point.

So yes, I do find it entertaining.
It’s OK to be pissed off that we lost. It’s even OK to blame the coach for not figuring out how to “reach” their team.
But it’s not a Jan Jensen thing, it’s an every coach in America thing after they lose. All the messageboard heroes show up in droves telling everyone how smart they are and how easy it is to coach…
It’s shitty, it’s arrogant, and they deserve to be made to feel small🤷♂️ and they’ll tell you they don’t, but they do

In my opinion Prince was the best player on the court last night. She controlled their offense and was clutch when she needed to be. She had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals along with 22 points. She showed moments of Clark. She was outstanding but we still should have won this game.
Wow, all of the doom and gloom of not playing a player or playing a player, players are going to leave (A J Ediger is here) recruits are going to back put, fans will be staying home, nobody wants to watch this team (shitshow according to some) play, Jan only gets 3 or 4 years, the AD blah blah blah. It must really suck to be this damn miserable.
Mary Tyler Moore definitely had some spunk and some gams,,,hubba hubba. I'm old.
I'm not complaining and I don't care what others think, but all of the negativity if not sad, is rather hilarious.
