How many more years do you think until he retires and Brian Ferentz presumably is promoted to offensive coordinator?
Iowa just had one of their greatest offensive seasons in history, and the incessant bitching and whining about Davis is already insufferable.
IMHO, Phil Parker should be getting MUCH greater heat than Davis. Our defense has been horrible at preparing for big games apart from the last B1G Championship (though Sparty's offense was proven feeble in Dallas).
this is exactly what the longhorns around here in Austin- tell me that vince young didHopefully sooner the better, CJ's ability to improvise helped cover a lot of the holes in GD's plays IMO.

but the thread I had on it, got removed. but I don't care, remove the thread now: vince young basically did not listen to greg davis and improvised. this is the opinion of many longhorns in Austin. there, said it again. who cares? look at the darn bowl games {ours and theirs -in the rose} and just sit back and think about it.
supposedly he has a house out here by marble falls or horseshoe bay, this is where all the good coaches go btw, clovis hale used to live out there I think, and spike dykes, anywho, supposedly he retained the house and travels to iowa and his wife stayed here. this is what sports talk dudes said on the radio a few years ago when they first hired him. I would not be surprised if he retires.Agreed, I could see Davis gone after next year. Between the returning players and a very favorable schedule Iowa is set up for another good season and could see Davis retiring afterwards.
I love when people whine about people whining.
I miss norm. this parker is ok, but nothing like normParkers D played pretty good this year overall but the d-lines inability to get any sort of pressure is the most at fault area of the D. Our O-line had trouble with a pass rush all year. CJ bailed them out lots with his legs but couldn't do it in the Rose Bowl. Many praised BF for his job with the O-line but I just don't think he deserved those praises. CJ was lucky to survive the year. No way our O-line was one of the best in the country.
Leave!I have been on fire whining about the mighty greg davis
