Beautiful. If Michigan is in we are solidly in. At least fun basketball is making up for our utter failure in the past 4 weeks.

Iowa has always been solidly in.. This actually hurts our chance at a 6 seed.. If Michigan and Ohio state are playing in Dayton as 11 seeds that only leaves two 6 spots for Iowa to be in..

isn't it 1 11 seed and 1 12 seed game? So that would leave 3 (6seed) spots open.

Indy may be worse than us in Big Ten Tourneys in Indy. That stat, 4-10...wow.

Well that would've made our path to Sunday a little easier. Not making excuses for Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin but makes me wonder how seriously some teams already in the NCAA tourney take the B1G tourney.

In his post-game interview, Tom Crean told reporters:
"Indiana is just like Iowa, we lost so that we can rest up
for the NCAA Tournament. Bobby Knight was always
against the Big Ten Tournament because it took away
from the regular season conference champion."

This has to be a joke.

Not always.. Depends on the auto bids.. Projected to be all 11s this year at this point.. Could change

Why does every bracket projection show a 11 seed game in Dayton and a 12 seed game in Dayton? I thought thats the way it always was. Why would they make both play-in games be 11? Doesn't seem right.

This is what it's going to be like in the NCAA tourney. It may be the greatest year ever for upsets.
Actually just watch. It'll f***ing be Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and Michigan State in the Final Four just because. It won't even be because they're playing that well. Their opponents just don't do enough to end their seasons.

Last I checked Crean won the BIG this year.
Nobody cares. How are they gonna do in the NCAA tourney? Last I checked that luster on Iowa State's 2015 Big 12 tournament championship lasted for about 5 days.

Conference and tournament championships are for the fans. The NCAA tournament is where the money meets the mouth. A first round exit as a conference champion surely makes you feel all warm inside.....at least somewhere.

Crean is twice the coach as Fran...2 Big Ten titles in 4 years.

2013 had two 11 seeds and two 13 seeds.. It's all about resume strength.. If auto bid stony brook has a better resume than the last 4 in it can move them around.. In a year with weak auto bids it's more likely to have 4 11 seeds.. Could still shake out to be two of each though! You're not wrong, it's just not a rule

Outside of MSU the conference is very average.

Indiana is very reliant on the 3pt shot.

I think MSU team last year was better than this squad...or maybe because this Iowa team was able to beat them twice, I am influenced by that fact.

Purdue--I thought their guards looked like they had a lot of potential in that 2nd game we played them. They might be the class of B1G in NCAA if they get 3pt shooting to go with post game they have.

B1G looks to be less athletic than some other conferences. but MSU and Purdue might make noise.

Hopefully UW exits 1st round. I like how they lost in BTT.

Michigan St., Purdue, and Maryland are going to represent
the Big Ten very well in the NCAA Tournament.

Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin are question marks for making
a long run in the NCAA. Hopefully, Iowa can win its first 2
games and get to the Sweet Sixteen.
