It would be a blow to lose Michigan from the B10 but if they're leaving because they don't want to be held accountable for cheating they should go to the SEC.

Who's giving MI props for standing behind their coach/staff? I am, defending their own while arguing for due process and careful examination of the evidence, what’s not to like.
With that said, it doesn’t look good for MI from an evidence perspective. And threatening the NCAA/B1G with a move to the SEC?? I’m assuming that’s more media suggestion than anything else. I have a hard time believing MI would go there.

What did he actually do? I see people joking on twitter that all he did was buy a recruit a cheeseburger. Is that really it or is there more?
Glad to see the NCAA taking a hard line against NFL coaches.

They need to have wins stripped. They took away a season from Ohio State because of tattoos. Michigan full on cheated. You can't tell me that they went from getting blown out by Ohio State, losing to Iowa, and losing multiple games every year to being unstoppable over the next three years.
Their talent didn't get that much better. There was something else. They were struggling with Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, Indiana, and Nebraska. Then all of a sudden they are blowing out everyone. Ferentz didn't become inept against them all of a sudden. Just look at how their offense struggled for years until Harbaugh got his "mojo" back.
The man knew he was about to be fired. He went out and did whatever he could. It's not a coincidence he became so obsessed about going back to the NFL right as he started "getting it right again".
If he had it his way, he would've been in the NFL before he even won a championship. Think about that. He had his whole team coming back after two straight great seasons, two straight years of whipping Ohio State and winning the B1G. What coach wouldn't want to come back to a team that was a field goal away from competing for a National Title? A team fully intact.

even if that is the case, their championship trophies have to evoke something similar to what a watch collector feels looking at a bunch of fake rolexes
It's like new charges are brought up once every week, and the NCAA is like "idk lol" when it comes to any kind of real punishment. They're scared to hurt their golden goose.

That's the way our country works now. You just have to find one judge you can buy or one that has a jaundiced view to begin with and their ruling can affect millions of people even though he may have no expertise on the situation he's deciding.
