Regarding Tyler Barnes(his type of job), what is the ceiling? GM in the NFL??

I think he is at or near his ceiling. To go to the NFL player evaluation side, I think he would have to start somewhere near the bottom. Convincing recruits to come to Iowa is a much different job than evaluating players in the draft or free agency.

The "unfair" in that definition refers to the use of power to get a family member of friend an opportunity. It's nepotism whether it works out or not.

There are several other definitions of nepotism that don't use the word unfair at all, just using influence to provide opportunities to family or friends.

Again, I don't really care. It's just sort of ironic considering the outrage on others.

How come no one is outraged at the nepotism right now? Is it only when it doesn't work out?

If Tyler is the worst recruiting coordinator in FBS for 5 years, and is not relieved of this duties, then you will have a case.

Tyler Barnes was named director of recruiting in April, 2016, and also serves as NFL liaison for the program.
