Their non conference is "an embarrassment" They have a home slate similar to Iowa this year too...

If I was a UF season ticket buyer I wouldn't be next year... And I expect to hear much of the same rhetoric for them as we're hearing this season

Usually you would let us know what it is, instead of just leaving it hang out there.

If only there was this website where people could ask questions like what's florida's 2016 football schedule. I'm thinking of making one and calling it Google... Lol

I'll post the schedule sorry

You mean we have to click on a link? Nah... Too much work, lol

It's acceptable because every week you play in the SEC you are playing in the best conference in the nation top to bottom/pound for pound. Playing against the worst team in the SEC is like playing a conference champ from any of the other power five conferences.

Unless you forgot about Iowa playing @ Pitt, Arizona, ASU, etc
The subject was about Florida's 2016 schedule.
In the 2016 non-conference schedule, Iowa does not leave the state. In fact, Iowa does not leave Kinnick. I think playing at FSU is pretty tough, in state or not.

I don't really get this post the fact the play FSU does in fact bring a lot of credibility to their NC. FSU will still be a top 20 team.

A. Don't care how tough playing FSU is. It's still an excuse that Florida has lived by since 1992.....yes that long since they left the state for an OOC game.

B. Congrats, you're still basing your argument on one season.
Also, I'm going to assume you're not an Iowa fan so I can forgive you for your ignorance when it comes to our scheduling set-up.

We go to 9 conference games next year. That leaves Iowa with 3 OOC games to fill in and they, like most all teams, look to get 7 home games every year. They have ISU like Florida has FSU, but as of next year, they won't have the 4th OOC game to get that second game against a P5 team like they usually have in the past.

If Nebraska had, say, Creighton (if they got a football team) on their schedule every year, then Nebraska would be in the same boat as Iowa next year and going forward as far as getting good P5 teams in the schedule while still meeting the 7 home game quota most athletic departments strive for.

Not sure why there's a complaint about their schedule. Looks similar to IOWA's over the past decade.

Honest question, when was the last time Iowa played a Florida State equivalent for a non conference game?

being the away team any Saturday is a battle in he SEC....no matter the opponent.Though fans go a little too far at times over the rivalries
