Gonna be honest: I am so encouraged by this.
Garza + Kriener foul trouble.
CJF somehow forgetting how to shoot
Joe T not making the noise he usually does.
Till proving to be a player.
Missing more free throws than normal.
Couple weird turnovers that Iowa doesn’t usually make.
Kriener technical.
And yet... in the game on the road against one of the only teams in America that has a big man to match Garza.
Iowa will move on just fine.
His stupid fouls took himself out.Officials completely took Garza out
Definitely a glass is half full outlook. There are no points for "being in the game."Gonna be honest: I am so encouraged by this.

yup, and you can’t even fight back when they’re wearing black and white.when all said and done,Iowa got whooped.
Finally they call low contact against Garza. Only took 38.5 minutes.
Sure there is.Nothing different with that shot than every previous one he took
2nd game in a row Garza hasn’t shot very well. Wonder if he’s hitting a bit of a wall?
Agreed. The team is battling but it's just not their night. In other years this would have been a blowout by halftime.Gosh, it is really hard to like us as a fan base whenever Iowa is losing in football or basketball. I know other fan bases complain but it's pretty bad on here where there is maybe one positive for every 12 negative comments. I know it gets said a lot but it's kind of depressing to not be able to have a normal game thread discussion when Iowa is tied, down by a couple, or down by double digits. It's sad
Refs on the road. It’s bs.Officials completely took Garza out

Let people b**** about the refs.I don’t understand.

He’s getting beat up. If they’re not calling fouls in the paint, it’s going to be tough for any post player.2nd game in a row Garza hasn’t shot very well. Wonder if he’s hitting a bit of a wall?
These poor shooting nights are starting to occur a bit too often lately. Lot of missed open shots in a game that just a couple more 3’s would’ve been nice.
Agreed. The team is battling but it's just not their night. In other years this would have been a blowout by halftime.
He's right though, to be fair. Thanks for another negative post.
Love this team's tenacity. They didn't have it all clicking tonight and that'll happen but it's tough grabbing road wins in general. The guys played tough over all but lots of points left on the floor that were needed (free throws, second chance points).
Maryland definitely made the most of their rebounds and that's a credit to their team. Fun game to watch and hopefully we get fired up for IL
That dudes only contribution to this message board tonight is to police anyone who has anything bad to say about the refsLet people b**** about the refs.
They aren't any further beyond reproach than Fran, the players and the f***ing fans.
You're welcome.
"But but but it does no good to complain about the refs!"
Yeah and it does no good to f***ing complain about and pessimistically assess how Iowa played either, but hey guess what......................Internet.
Again, deal with it.
P.S. Did that help?
