Rutgers doing work against KSt. 34-17 in the 3rd.

Remember last bowl season when Rutgers manhandled Miami? NW beat Utah. Wisconsin gave LSU all they wanted.

All teams that Iowa beat. 2 away from Kinnick.

Of course those teams never had a pulse, though.

Such a disrespect to how hard it is to win at all at that level, let alone for pretty much over 20 years straight

Iowa is very often simply not well-prepared for the bowl game.

Lol, you're such a simp.

that guy who counts His money at the table and says 1 more hand and gets dealt pocket aces and gets a bad beat on the river.
I clearly made the right bet.

At +220, If Rutgers wins even less than 1 out of 3 times, I make money.

Anyone who knows a thing about sports betting can see that it was a winning bet in the long run.

All you can do is get your money in good. It doesn't always hit for you on that particular iteration.

Keep trying guys.

Plus, the original point, that Iowa's success is undervalued, remains. Rutgers and many in the Big Ten a lot better than they get credit for. Rutgers was a 7 point dog, due to inaccurate perception

So you made money on tonight's game?

I don't claim to be the sports betting guru that you clearly are, but I'm pretty sure that if you make a bet and lose, it's not the right bet.

I especially like the "winning bet in the long run" bit. You lose long-term betting just like everyone else.

You must be incredibly dizzy after all that spin.

LOL. Loser.

Lol, exactly.

He made a bet. He lost the bet. He claims he made the right bet.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong.

Ever play poker before? If you get your money in as a favorite vs your opponent's hand (or even range of hands, if you understand the game well) and the size of the pot, you've made the winning play. A certain percentage of the time, the cards will not run out in your favor.

Yes, it's all about the long run in speculative risk/investment. And no, I'm not a loser in the long run, like a very high percentage of sports bettors

Lol, you are literally the biggest dork I've ever encountered here. Please never change. Lol.

Lol, dude, you're saying you won $$$ on your bet on tonight's Rutgers v. KSU game?

What does "essentially" mean?

Lololol.
"Essentially" means, "in the long run".

Yes, I would make that bet every time. No question.

You don't think Rutgers could have at least won that game under 1 out of 3 times, having seen the way it played out? If you do, that makes it a winning bet, vs the odds, in the long run.

Sometimes I can see that I've made the wrong bet. This wasn't one of them

It's a pretty simple question.

You put money on tonight's Rutgers game.

Did you win, or did you lose that money?

In my mind, I made the correct bet, which means, in the long run I profited a bet share.

I don't care that my account balance dipped tonight. When you bet sports almost every day for 30 years, that shouldn't be how you judge it.

Again, the question should be, "do you think Rutgers wins that game not even one out of three times?" What do you think?
