You do realize we’re playing an awful team? At least I hope you do. Even most loyal NU fans would admit they’re awful. The coaching and play from us was terrible in the first half and now a very bad team is handing us the game. There shouldn’t be any play calling props to beating a team that is awful with a coach that won’t be around next season.
Beating up on a 4 win team, with a coaching staff that's already booked the moving company, put the houses on the market and dusted off the cabana wear. Awesome!

Didn't think he play calling was spectacular. I believe it was a bit of execution (I know, cliche) but also Nebraska quit before the end of the 3rd quarter. Even our 2nd string was running for 10 yard gains on their starters. I would say B+. Good enough for the win, but still questionable at times.
What about the NW game? The Purdue game? Waa aaaaaa
Its pathetic even after a win some find reasons to complain .....i'm so embarrassed by some of these so called fans! I would hate to be a kid in one of the homes that these people live in .......they wouldnt have a chance. Please find another team to follow ....i didn't say be a fan for a reason....because i don't think you are really a fans?
OP, did you see how fast Nebraska gave up in the second half, when wadley is carrying defenders that should tell you they just plain gave up. Brian was more aggressive today than the past 2 weeks. This game does not change my opinion on this staff and this team, we crushed a team that gave up cause they know Riley won't survive the weekend.

I'm still not sure which side is worse, the super fans who would agree with the call if we punted on 1st down on every series if that is what we did or the fans who are pissed at every play of every game. Some day we might figure out their is a middle ground somewhere.
Have you looked at the title of the thread? Is BF suddenly an offensive genius? Listen, I'm a Hawk alumni, give to the university what I can each year and will continue to do so until the day I die regardless of who's coaching or if we're 12-0 or 0-12 yet starting a thread like this as if suddenly BF is some kind of "offense wizard" after playing a team like Nebraska today that everyone can agree is just awful is just plain silly. Should we all jump on board and thank God that BF is our OC now?
Just because people complain and/or are frustrated doesn't mean they are any lesser (or better for that matter) of a fan than you. We played a team today that wasn't interested in winning and if their head coach is still there by Monday I'll be shocked. In the second half Wadley (who no matter what is absolutely a stud and will be missed) could've done a moon walk and a back flip on some of his carries and still gotten 10 yards because NU was in the locker room already.
Giving BF a bunch of pats on the back for play calling today is silly given the circumstances. If our play wasn't so poor in the first half it very well could have been a 70-0 blow out.
And anyone watching the game could've seen how uninspired NU was playing, particularly in the second half. Just about any team in D! football could've rolled NU today based on how they played in the second half of today's game.
Nebraska is a joke. When Mick Stoltenberg and Marcus Newby went out with injuries the Iowa running game took off. Stoltenberg was kicking James Daniels ass up front.
When Iowa can run the ball, force turnovers and get key penaltys to keep drives alive...our offense is still below average.
BF still had very little formation variety. He was chicken shit after the picks by not going for the throat and passing. Instead there were 3 runs... Only saw 3 screens and 2 bootlegs. My favorite call of the game was the throwback to TJ on a flag route. TJ dropped a tough but catchable ball.
I think it's safe to say offensively you don't know what you are going to get from one game to another. It's frustrating.

KF gets great seasons every 4 years, then rebuilds. You cheer the great years and wine, waaaaaa, waaaa the other years. Fair weather!
How about stopping with the constant language that sounds just like my 2.5 year old when he’s acting up and put together an actual opinion that’s readable as an adult on how the play calling is so great and support it with historical facts? Put some effort into it and write like you’re an adult rather than a troll.
It's so much important that you look at the 19 year win, loss record and see the trend. That way you might see reality.
