No worries! I actually don't hate Cubs fans. I was using that as an excuse to throw Steve Bartman and Merkle's Boner into the conversation. #allcubsfansmatter

If you don't know the Merkle story it is worth looking up. I get kids who use the term "Murk" now and then. When I tell them where the it comes from they either become very interested or look at me like I'm a "moran."

It's a great story! I learned about it watching the Ken Burns documentary. Baseball back then was the Wild West, pretty much anything goes.
