How's Keegan Doing?

Iowa could sure use Keegan if the Kings aren't gonna get him the ball in the postseason outside of the "atta boy" token spot up 3s because the stars can't take all the shots...........

Keegan, tonight, in 35 minutes:

4-5 (80%): 1st Quarter (including 2-2 from three)
0-0: Rest of the Game

10 points
6 defensive rebounds

Bucks fans can't be happy. The Bucks had the best record in the NBA and were a huge favorite to beat the 8 seed Miami Heat in the opening round of the playoffs.

Tonight, the Bucks led at home by 16 points going into the 4th qtr and then got outscored 32-16, where they then lost in OT.

The Heat win the series 4 games to 1. Ouch.

Per ESPN: The Bucks were the consensus favorites to win the NBA title at sportsbooks entering the playoffs. Milwaukee was around a -1,200 favorite to defeat Miami in their opening-round series.

Miami advances to play the NY Knicks, with the winner of that series advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. Crazy.

I went to bed towards the end of the second quarter, after several times Murray was WIDE OPEN for a kick-out 3 but instead Fox/Monk/Huerter forced up some midrange trash or got their layup blocked. Looks like nothing changed the rest of the game. This series is over, Kings are toast now.

I’m pretty sure the Kings were 8-11 in the first quarter. So they went 2-24 the rest of the game.

The box score now says the Kings went 10-34 from three (not 10-35).

From the ESPN game story:

Sacramento went from shooting 8 for 12 (67%) from 3-point range in the first quarter to 0 for 9 in the second quarter — the Kings' most misses without a make in any quarter this season.

The Kings went 2 for 22 (9%) from 3 over the final three quarters.

With a win on Friday night, the Warriors would improve to 19-0 in playoff series against Western Conference teams since Kerr took over in 2014-15.

Keegan was coming off a 23 point game. When you start last night's game 4-5 from the field with 10 points IN THE OPENING QUARTER, yeah, I agree, get Keegan the damn ball.

Instead, Keegan did not get off a shot for the last 3 quarters.

Pure head scratcher.

Keegan highlights from last night. Unfortunately, all of his scoring (10 points) came in the first quarter and he never got many touches (and he had 0 FG attempts) over the last 3 quarters of the game.

I hate the team but I find it really hard to hate Steve Kerr.

After Keagan and the Kings got off to a great start by moving the ball, they resorted to playing one on one ball. Keagan was open numerous times for a drive and kick but whoever drove never even looked at him. The Kings do a terrible job of moving the ball. Whoever drives to the basket is going to go all the way and not kick it. When they move the ball they are hard to beat. When they play selfish, they are very beatable.
