How's Keegan Doing?

Yep. In the 8 point loss, the Kings' defense struggled to get stops and their shots were not falling.
This nails it. I don't know how many shots rolled off the rim or were in and out. Kevin Huerter is in a grand funk (pun intended). He looks lost on both ends. When he gets his shot back, it'll be fun to watch. Still want to see more from him defensively right now. Keegan's defense looks really nice.

Kings starting lineup:

Keegan misses a 3 at the buzzer. Kings and Lakers are going to OT, tied at 115.

Obviously didn't need a 3 to win it.

Earlier, as seen below, Keegan hit a huge 3; he scored all of his 15 points in the 2nd half.

Keegs is doing much better after leaving Fran's Entry Pass and Space Cadet McCaffery "system."

Kris, too.

Can you believe Franny was playing Entry Pass and Space Cadet over two first round draft picks?

It's almost as if he's a fvckin' chooch who doesn't know the first thing about basketball!

Thanks, GaryBarta!!!!

JFC. Maybe give the guy a little credit for offering them scholarships when no one else would and turning them into first round draft picks?

Did not playing them together while playing his Suns make the Murray brothers first round picks?
Probably. Each got featured for a season. Each got the green light to shoot anything and be the man. I highly doubt if they played on another team that they would have been drafted as highly. They went from being the 333/334 best prospects in their class to being drafted number 4 and 24. That would not have happened without Fran. Period.

Yeah. Fran McCaffery, established NBA talent developer.

Frannie got gifted two late-bloomers because their father is a beloved Iowa alum who happened to live up the road. Fran did not a goddamned thing to turn the Murrays into first-round picks. They earned that by working their asses off. Francis blows.

Fran gets credit for doing a former great player a favor by giving his kids a schollie. It was shocking at the time since neither had showed the potential untill they joined the team. All anybody expected is that they would be projects who's career would resemble current 7ft center that rarely sees the floor. I give all the credit to Kenyon and his kids who worked their ass off to get better. Of all the players to come to Iowa the last 40 years. Who would have expected that both would become 1st round NBA players and stick.

I don’t have the inclination to go back and check, but it feels likely that the same people who don’t give Fran any credit for developing the Murrays are the same folks who wanted him fired for signing them in the first place.

He played his kids more than the Murrays. Fran blizzows.

Send him up the yard with Bri-bri Ferentz

I agree that Fran underutilized the Murrays. But that is a different argument than saying he had nothing to do with their development. IMHO.
how come Fran couldn't develop his own kids? CMAC spent 4 of his 5 years not being able to shoot. PMAC has a career of not playing defense and watching other big guys rebound. How come two NBA players played behind two of Fran's own kids that clearly aren't nba material.

If some posters like Fran-ball that is fine. If others don't like Fran-ball and want more, that is fine too.
