Portland (28-37) lost at home last night to Detroit (36-29), 119-112.

Portland played 9 players; each of the 9 played 14 minutes or more. Kris did not play (coach's decision).

@Hawksfor3 , what a turn around season for the Detroit Pistons (and their first year head coach J.B. Bickerstaff). The Pistons haven't been to the playoffs since 2019 (first round exit). They currently occupy the #6 seed in the Eastern Conference. With 17 games to go in the regular season, they have a 5.5 game lead on current #7 seed Atlanta. They trail current #4 seed Milwaukee by just ONE GAME.

The Pistons' record over the last 7 seasons:
2025: 36-29
2024: 14-68
2023: 17-65
2022: 23-59
2021: 20-52
2020: 20-46
2019: 41-41 (First Round Playoff exit)

I haven't followed the Pistons much at all this year, but it's good to see them come around. They were playing well even before Ivey went down.

At this point I'm not sure Kris is going to make it. Looking more and more like a bust as a 1st round pick. To bad.

Funny in the last game of the season he actually decides to shoot the ball. He's just way to timid on the offensive end. And unfortunately his 3 pt shooting is still atrocious after 2 years. I'm sure they were hoping he could become the old 3 and D guy but he can't put the ball in the hoop. Like to see him stick and eventually become a key piece of the team but not sure it's going to happen.

Right, can't be a good three point shooter if you're timid.
