I also asked all of my facebook friends to donate. Let's keep this going!

I just talked to Moriah-- in last 20 hrs or so we have raised $8,726 so far-- that's not chump change! all because of this message forum!

And just to think-- some people think the only reason this place exists is to bitch and moan!

Now we just need a DONATE now AD and easy access DONATE BUTTON at events like Grapple on the Grid Iron, Hawkeye Football, Wrestling, Basketball....imagine! 45K x $10....70K x $10....15k x $10---that is over 1M right there and that is for just one event at the lowest entry! Must find ways to get to the masses of Hawk fans across the country....along with a 3-4 other big donors. It is a start.

Done! Man that felt good!:D

Just having f#$ guys... great turnout here.

You might not have read the forum rules, but you are now contractually obligated to follow through with that donation. Thanks for your cooperation.

I'm sure that's just a drop in the bucket for the fund at PSU.

I know I'm new here so if this is over-stepping feel free to let me know.

I propose a contest in this thread. The last person to donate and post it in this thread shall be proclaimed on this forum, and forever referred to by all members as, "Greatest Iowa Wrestling Fan Ever". Rules are simple: 1. Donations in this thread have to be dormant for 1 week for it to be considered "over". 2. Minimum donation amount: $20 (no maximum) 3. Donation must be separate from any "auto pay" donations for which we are all going to enroll. How long could this thread go?

So, below is my second donation. Guess I'm in the lead......

I love the idea. Can you help me understand the mechanics of how this would work?

Ok so here's a idea, at the state fair why couldn't they set up a booth like the hawkeye athletics do. You could have Terry and all the athletes work shifts each day. Sell your hats, shirts, and coats. Take donations and give out fliers on what the HWC is about. I mean it's in the summer and tons of people are there, just like I said it's just an idea!!!!!

This very well could become the most historic post in the history of this board. One two-word message and a copy-and-paste from the HWC site, from possibly the most unique poster on the board, and. . . BOOM!!!

It only takes a spark to get a fire going, folks. . . .

People just don't have a good appreciation of what goes on in a cesspool..........

Ok......late to the Party as usual.............but

I'm NOT seeing any emoji's on these HWC reciepts. and you all can guess how I feel about that .....right?

Not even a little Gable smiley face with his fist raised...........

Or Tom & Terry busting up the furniture in their parents house........

Or CC Shoulder emoji..........c'mon gotta have that now ....

"<<Randy - Any chance you could add PayPal as an option through which to donate?>>

I certainly think so! Recurring payments and paypal are at top of list,I will be working on this next week--

I apologize if I have not answered everyones questions--I'm reading,I'm taking notes --and I have taken calls from some high level staff members-- I can only tell you the initials of one of them. (Tom Brands)

He was wondering what the heck was going on-- when I explained--he was AMAZED !!

I couldnt see his face, but it had a big smile on it--I could sense it. Like I told him-- if only we had some cooperation to reach more of our fans/supporters. ( I did say more on that later, right?)

TB said he hopes anyone local can show up at the Banquet so he can thank you in person. I do as well.. beers on me!

Keep it going--Im going to do a better job of communicating.

All I can say is thank you-- from me (really just a big fan like you), from the staff and from the athletes we support.
