It was a joke. When Downey was walking to his corner after the match, Reece tossed him. Reminded me of when Clark tossed Brands, and all of the PSU trolls were saying Brands was making it about himself.

Definitely didn’t see that coming.
I had to mute it but I’m not a big fan of any of Flo’s announcing in the first place. Too reactionary and almost clueless some times.
They didn't catch that Fix was called for passivity once...should have been called again.
But Gilman let him inside for that trip...basically gifted it unfortunately.
I thought the ref was fine. Fix is savvy and outsmarted Gilman on the edges where normally Gilman dominates.....

Fix earned that one. Scored on his shots and defended Thomas's well. I still like Gilman's chances in a 2 out of 3 scenario
He called stalemate on active scrambles. International competition on the edge they let them work for the pushout more. He was too quick with the whistle imo .
Yianni is an artist. Sees and does things that very few others can do.

I agree on the one call where Gilman was working out of a whizzer on the edge and looked like he was going to score.
Still...sometimes you have to overcome those things and there was nothing egregious.

Gilman really improved the last year but not as much as Fix has! Young guns really showing there stuff. Gilman kicked to the curb, time for Iowa golden child to step up.

When would you say TG was being careless? I thought he wrestled well, just didn’t get it done this time. I don’t think either man will ever “own” the other one. They will have tough matches every time they wrestle.
