Because it is compassionate to care about kids having the most basic supplies they NEED. If you had ever had a period while in school you would know the fear of your period showing up when you didn't expect it, bleeding through your clothes because for some reason your body decided today was the day to practically hemorrhage, having a parent yell at you for needing supplies because there was no money to buy them. There is a lot of stupidity funded by tax payers but this isn't one of them.

Are you of the belief that they are only putting these in boys restrooms? And you think I’m the one with cognitive issues?
I know it triggers the hell out of you but some students identify as transgender. Those students may use the boys restroom but still menstruate. Having these products available for those students will cause zero harm to cis males. They may also be able to take some for a sibling or parent that needs them but can’t afford them. Or if it’s a locker room it may be used by a girls team during athletic events. Or the wrestling team may use them for bloody noses. This is seriously such a non issue for people who aren’t hateful or internet trolls. If you don’t need them you are welcome to ignore them.
