Sad news this AM that LA is relaxing its air quality rules to allow more cremations.

Better than bodies piling up in the streets - as during plague and Spanish Flu times - but still pretty stark.

I was under the impression that one of the few positive aspects of COVID was improved air quality due to reduced vehicle traffic and manufacturing. Is that not the case?

I think that's still the case, making this necessity even more alarming.

I wouldn't have thought cremations were that "dirty" but maybe they are.
