How good would Ulis have looked in Black & Gold? I'll always be grateful for Gessell/Sap for helping bring the program back to respectability, but I think Ulis would've taken us to the next level...

I would have looked good being born a Rockefeller or Kennedy, But just like Ulis coming to Iowa, it didn't happen. I moved on with my life, Hawks moved on as well.
Had he come here we would have gone to the final four. Not a doubt in my mind.
Wouldn't have lost a game all year. (National champs in football too....he's that good)
I have to agree with this, kid is a heck of a talent and would have made this team something really special no doubt.

That just means he would've been done a round sooner, with his last game coming to Middle Tennessee State.

Waspun is an athletic freak that can jump out of the gym but maybe not the greatest outside shooter. Yeah...give me some yogi anytime, I would say he's an elite pg.

Fran definitely didn't ignore him. ...pushed hard to get him but got in late and Cuonzo Martin closed the deal.
He didn't push hard. He waited until the last minute to offer.
Fran offered at least a year after Ogelsby who was the same class.
