"When the system fails the people, the people support politicians who promise to burn the system to the ground."
Rapists have had zero effect on my life, either, yet somehow I don't think they should be allowed to roam free.January 6th has had zero affect on your life as well. But hey, keep taking about it. Fine by me.
The “convicted felon” diatribe gets old. Yes, he paid “hush money” to a porn star. However, he didn’t kill somebody, etc…you know like a real/bad crime. 😉 Also, let’s get real, if Trump wasn’t running for president he would have never been in court.Nope uh huh... sorry you are either for the potato in chief we have or for the convicted felon. You are not permitted to think independently. Now who's it gonna be? Choose wisely Democracy is at stake here. 😉
Yep…Trump is the obvious choice over a cadaver. This for the love of God. The choice is simple.
DerpWhat else do you “want” that you’re not going to get so you’re willing to fvck up your life out of spite? Do you seriously not understand that you’re living in la-la land?
Here are your choices:
1. Vote for Biden (or against Trump, same thing)
2. Vote for Trump
3. Vote third party which eases Trump’s path to a win (assuming you think he’s the worst choice)
4. Don’t vote with the same stipulations as #3
If you choose 3 or 4, keep it to yourself. You’ve abdicated your responsibility and no one else wants to hear about it. If you choose 2, you’re a fvcking idiot. If you choose 1, feel free to do it reluctantly, hating the choice, but recognizing it’s what’s best for the country.
Agreed…who did Trump rape?Is this accurate? Seems like a false arguement.
Truth. The “convicted felon” diatribe gets old. Yes, he paid “hush money” to a porn star. However, he didn’t kill somebody, etc…you know like a real/bad crime. 😉 Also, let’s get real, if Trump wasn’t running for president he would have never been in court.
My casual interactions with friends and family align with the horrendous polling data on Biden and my own observations on his mental competence. So unfortunately I think you are wrong. I just wish Dems wouldn’t get so angry at those of us who honestly believe Biden will lose. I don’t understand the certainty people feel that Biden is the Dems best chance. I honestly believe he is the worst chance the Dems have. And I think he will sink down ballot races too. It's too early to assume Biden will lose. He's an incumbent president with a good record running against a conman felon. The best strategy to defeat Trump at this point is to get behind Biden.
What, specifically, did Trump do, or not do, during his 4 year term that hurt you?Yes we do. 4 years of Trump was enough.
Rapists have had zero effect on my life, either, yet somehow I don't think they should be allowed to roam free.
Translation: what kind of intellectually bankrupt argument are you trying to sell this time?
Why not ask the guy I responded to who made the argument first and I’m poking fun at for with my comment? Can’t wait for you to jump his ass! Get him! I’m sure you’ll jump all over him.Rapists have had zero effect on my life, either, yet somehow I don't think they should be allowed to roam free.

There you go @What Would Jesus Do?Could you please explain to us what you mean by “open borders”? The people who have come into America from the south for a half a century have had zero negative effect on my life. .
However, what decent alternative to Biden do the Dems have? The UK just completed an entire election campaign from start to finish in 6 weeks.
It can be done.
Just wait until there is a big terrorist attack in this country (it’s inevitable) then we’ll see what tune you sing. It’s unforgivable how people from all over the world have entered the U.S. virtually unvetted during Biden’s presidency.Could you please explain to us what you mean by “open borders”? You guys say it like you believe Biden had border patrol open dozens of gates and watched millions of rapists walk into the country. The people who have come into America from the south for a half a century have had zero negative effect on my life. You know who has? Corporations, billionaires and their greed. They have affected me far more than immigrants. Immigrants haven’t done a thing.
The pro Hamas rallies and the burning of our flag on J4 are a foreboding of things to comeJust wait until there is a big terrorist attack in this country (it’s inevitable) then we’ll see what tune you sing. It’s unforgivable how people from all over the world have entered the U.S. virtually unvetted during Biden’s presidency.
Fair enough. Stop using that argument, @Tom Paris.
Many. It's not the lack of good candidates, it's the corruption of the party structure and it's funding mechanisms. However, what decent alternative to Biden do the Dems have?
This presidential “immunity” fear mongering BS from the left is amusing. Do they realize it’s ONLY for official acts of a president. Not some wild ass scenarios that I’ve read, which are obviously not official acts of a president. For instance, the presidential immunity would protect Biden against lawsuits by family members of the 13 U.S. service members killed from Biden’s very stupid Afghanistan withdrawal. While it was a bone-headed withdrawal plan, it was certainly within a president’s official acts.So what you are saying is you are now for abortion and want Biden to take out Trump as a domestic terrorist and use his presidential immunity as a way to get out of it or take the fall for the action since he is clearly not able to function in the capacity of POTUS for another term?
I wonder if that would only be criminal immunity? If those families wanted to sue for wrongful death, civil charges if the presidential immunity extends? This presidential “immunity” fear mongering BS from the left is amusing. I'm not angry that many people want Biden replaced or believe he will lose. I just don't want them to make it a self fulfilling prophecy. I know you and many of the HROT posters that are disgusted about the current situation still oppose Trump. My hope is that you and others like you will still cast your vote to keep Trump out of the Oval Office regardless of which candidate is at the top of the Dem ticket. In a normal election I would agree the purpose is to vote for someone you support not just against someone you don't, but these are not normal times. My casual interactions with friends and family align with the horrendous polling data on Biden and my own observations on his mental competence. It’s sad that this is where we are, but this is where we are.
I guess that I just don’t agree with you, as I don’t see any one Democrat that would excite and unify their party, other than perhaps Michelle Obama? However, she reportedly has no interest/desiree in being the nominee.Many. It's not the lack of good candidates, it's the corruption of the party structure and it's funding mechanisms.
Even the worst plausible ticket I can imagine - which, off the top of my head, would be Hillary-Manchin - would be better than Trump.
Unfortunately right now it doesIt doesn’t have to be that way.
Do you guys seriously still not understand what a lot of us are saying?
It’s not that we think Trump is the better option. It’s that we want a different alternative to Trump. We don’t want this to be a binary choice between a narcissistic, sociopathic criminal and an 86-year-old man who no longer has the energy to perform one of the most stressful jobs in the world.
I don’t know how he will recover from that tongue lashing.Fair enough. Stop using that argument, @Tom Paris.
I honestly don't care. Would I like someone younger? **** yes. But there has been a lot of good things done these past 4 years and I trust his cabinet and administration will continue to do good work. But when you vote for Biden, who are you really voting for? He is clearly not in charge. Who is the brain trust behind the figure?
Could be…I don’t know. The main point of my post was that presidential immunity is only for official presidential acts. Every president has made decisions that, in retrospect, could be construed as “criminal” by some. However, no president could be effective worrying about every official decision they make.I wonder if that would only be criminal immunity? If those families wanted to sue for wrongful death, civil charges if the presidential immunity extends?
Do you think we want that as well? I think some of us are just further along in accepting that this is the situation we are in and are pragmatic about it and think it is a rather easy choice still. I just hope the rest of you hurry the hell up and get to the same conclusion by November. You don't have to be happy about it but voting for Biden is the correct choice
That's not the problem. The problem is that republicans are united behind Trump.I guess that I just don’t agree with you, as I don’t see any one Democrat that would excite and unify their party, other than perhaps Michelle Obama? However, she reportedly has no interest/desiree in being the nominee.
Where are "official acts" defined?Could be…I don’t know. The main point of my post was that presidential immunity is only for official presidential acts. This might very well be a situation where pragmatism is tantamount to surrender.Do you think we want that as well? What kind of argument do you think @FAUlty Gator would make if he couldn’t attempt intellectually bankrupt, hurl-shit-at-the-wall-maybe-something-will-stick ones? He’s a grad A dunce.Rapists have had zero effect on my life, either, yet somehow I don't think they should be allowed to roam free.
Translation: what kind of intellectually bankrupt argument are you trying to sell this time?
I was too lazy to come up with a different example.I don’t know how he will recover from that tongue lashing.
What is your suggestion for how we get better choices for President between now and November? This might very well be a situation where pragmatism is tantamount to surrender.
You’re a weirdo. You still couldn’t answer the question, or was that in your “parody”? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
More importantly, what does he suggest someone does if the choices we have now are the choices we have then. It appears it is to "surrender".What is your suggestion for how we get better choices for President between now and November?
What? That I don’t freak out about an issue that politicians haven’t cared to solve for 50 years because Faulty is pretending to be outraged about it?Fair enough. Stop using that argument, @Tom Paris.
