Toks, and the rest of his Brownsburg Bulldogs will be taking on their biggest rival in the Avon Orioles on ESPNU tonight at 8pm EST (7pm in Iowa). Tune in to watch the future Hawkeye in this backyard brawl (the schools are about 5 miles apart and all the kids know each other)!
The game not only features Toks but also his teammate Hunter Johnson, the #1 ranked QB for 2017 who is a Tennessee commit (and Iowa offer) in addition to WR Tyler Kirtz a 2016 Ball State commit that has gotten some Hawkeye attention too...as well as Avon's QB Brandon Peters, who is one of the top passers in the 2016 and a Michigan commits (also has an offer from Iowa). There are other players on both teams that are at or near D1 talent level.
While Toks' stats haven't been as eye-popping as his junior year, his play has still been outstanding (over 5 YPC). Teams have loaded up trying to stop him and Hunter and Kirtz have made them pay. Through 3 games Hunter has 900 passing yards and 12 TD passes.
Toks did just break the career TD record for his school, a record that has stood for 60 years since 1954.
One final note...Brownsburg has one of the nation's fattest WR coaches. Please remember, the camera adds 70 lbs. ;-)
