At least you're honest about your ignorance. At least in this case.
It's important because you think Trump and Republicans are authoritarian but any criticism about democrats is conspiracy. It's impossible to have a conversation when one side refuses to recognize the problems on their own side.
All this does is drive both sides more extreme. Project 2025 was created to counter what democrats have done the past 20 years. If you don't like project 2025, look at your own party and see what they did to instigate this stuff.

The left makes up 97ish% of education and they have been forcing liberal policies with declining benchmarks.
Soros has been funding liberal judges to get elected so they will enforce or not enforce items important to them.
Dems have been very organized to get people to go along with the media and misinformation censorship, covid conspiracy, prosecution of trump while allowing Hillary and the 51 fbi people to go free. They got half the world to go along with transing kids.
I think the covid lies from the gov, supporting transitioning kids and allowing boys to compete as girls, prosecuting trump while ignoring hillary, and the open borders are what pushed people over the edge.
All of this made republican politicians realize they had to get organized if they wanted to beat the dem globalist elite cult.

What happened long ago does not justify what dems have done now. They have taken things too far. Not many Americans support open borders, or the child abuse of transitioning children, or giving up our freedom of speech to the government through censorship. People don't want vaccines forced on them, they don't want boys competing in women's sports, they don't believe all white people are racist just because they are white. Americans don't want to fight in wars in Ukraine and Israel just so the elite can get richer, or to send American taxpayer dollars over to Ukraine to pay for their pensions and be stolen through fraud.
These are things the democratic party has promoted and openly support. This is what 95% of Americans want to stop. I don't know if Trump is the answer, but I am 100% sure that biden, Clinton, Obama and the current democrats will make all of this worse than they already have.
I have voted democrat in 50% of the general elections and I despise the current democratic party.
