Between buying tickets and $3200 each year to the I Club I'm pretty sure I can say what I want. Haven't donated directly to Swarm but have bought some products to support. I may donate this year but if I do it won't be much. I think its bullshit.

It's' actually a solid point. Every Saturday during football season, I drop a solid amount of money at Kinnick (especially with those damn metal detectors), it is nice to see a winner on the field, if everyone threw in 20 bucks we could have an even better experience. That's two beers without tip.
OP is not entirely incorrect, schools with lesser NIL programs are more than likely at a disadvantage.
Just put the 'service/NIL' fee on the tickets for a few bucks and boom! Instant revenue stream...no different than silly swipe fees and convenience fees in other aspects of life.
The A/D needs to lead the way. Reduce ticket prices $20 and add a $20 NIL surcharge. No change to the consumer, big improvement in the product.
People have no problem giving $6-7 million to a head coach (via buying tickets, watching the games) and a lot of that money is going to one of the richest guys in Iowa. Cooper DeJean was a lot more valuable than Brian Ferentz and Brian got $900K.
Well they (the schools) also have to pay all athletes now instead of a subset. Football is the money sport.
Once collectives became a thing, and i decided not to donate, I figured it was time to stop complaining over results.
