The reality is we're in WWIII right now...we just refuse to admit it. It's worldwide and it's a war...probably worse than if we faced an actual organized military.

Right now Europe is under siege. It's been going on for decades and the pace is picking up as millions of muslims infiltrate the EU one refugee at a time. At some point it will go from terrorism to all out war. My guess is the numbers fleeing to EU will increase and quicken.

Assuming that report is accurate (no reason to think it's not) that just shows that what we have now isn't a perfect system. But it's still better than what carpet bombing would do and cheaper than boots on the ground.

Last time we carpet bombed somebody was Afghanistan I think. Of course, they were mountainous areas away from cities or towns.

Not even close. If George Bush would have limited his war to Afghanistan and tactical drone strikes I would have supported him. Instead, he wasted trillions on a war in the wrong place that completely destabilized the region that lead to the problems we have today. Oh, and he did this without paying for any of it.
