In Dallas for a week…

Staying in downtown Dallas for work training the next week. Any good restaurants or breweries I should check out close/in downtown while I’m here? TIA

Go to Hotel ZaZa uptown and just wander around looking at the art on the walls. The place just screams "f*** me" for couples.

The restaurant/bar isn't bad either.

Knife near SMU is a good steak house. I apologize for giving recommendation with it not being downtown. Just thought I’d share since we ate there and had a good time.

Head up 75 Central toward SMU and go to Cafe Brazil for breakfast.
If you can get in, Monarch is really outstanding, but it's more of a special date kind of place.
I've heard good things about The Owners Box in the Omni but I've never been there.
People seem to like Campisi's Pizza but I think it sucks.

Those of us who went downtown maybe once a year consider SMU and Park Cities part of downtown.
Dallas north burbs are a different world.
