If dual record is a factor in deciding the top non- B1G team, a Missouri win over NC State could mean the Tigers would be the top non-B10 team. They'd be 12-1 with wins over tOSU and NCSt (loss to OkSt) while OkSt will be 10-2 with wins over Missouri and Cornell (losses to Iowa and NCSt). I guess it depends how they weigh overall record vs head to head.

I'd be happy to see Mizzou wrestle either Iowa or PSU.

I feel or sense that avoiding the Iowa / okie state rematch may play into the scheduling.

I thought the the coaches' poll alone decided matchups.

I think I read somewhere that the NWCA has a coaches committee that will determine the pairings and it will be based on the Coaches Poll rankings after today's dual meets. However they will take into consideration rematch concerns and geography - so in other words they will match up whatever works best for all concerned!

Anybody know if the Iowa meet will be available on BTN Plus? I'd think it would be, but since it's not part of the regular home schedule, wasn't sure. Certainly hope so, as lots of fans outside of eastern Iowa who can't make it over on a Monday night will be very interested in watching.

I feel like "negotiations" and "politics" will play large roles in where everyone wrestles.

Plus Mike T's therapist filed an injunction to prevent an Iowa / Okie St rematch stating that it would be "cruel and unusual punishment" if Mike had to go through that again.

Now, why couldn't Gilman have run into THIS Zeke Moisey at Nationals last year?

I hope Moisey is OK, but based on the description, Larson was taking it to him even before the injury. Kid seems extraordinarily inconsistent.

Moisey was a huge 125 last year, I have to wonder if he has not run into cutting issues.

You would have thought a Hawk coached him at some point.
exactly.
The latest PSU fan base seems to think they invented attack style, in your face wrestling. Some of Kales best wrestlers have been extremely well coached from a certain former Hawkeye who heads a certain top level wrestling club in Pennsylvania.
Your welcome
