Aught to cancel the game it's meaningless. We're horrible, Marylands horrible. All games not associated with the playoff should be cancelled and so should all the meaningless bowl games. Big waste of everybodies time. Start buying players as soon as possible.

I was thinking that A: the D looked a little rough but B: the ucla offense looked fairly good and was wondering why they hadn't won more games

I posted this on another thread but it seems like this years team has given up a lot of "yards after contact". Not just against MSU and UCLA both other games as well. Hey I am just an old retired basketball coach you football coaches know more than me-just what I have seen.

With whose money? Yours? I just hate the argument because when it comes to paying players we don’t have a bunch of oil money fat cats obsessed with funding a team full of 18-22 year old kids to make themselves seem more important than they are. That’s the SEC. We have to be able to develop players. We made the guy who probably deserves a lot of credit for building the program , Doyle, be the fall guy, because He, Brian, and Seth were assholes and hurt feelings. We continue to get softer. We have no money to compete. Something has to change.

You must be new to this board. You honestly think there are many (ex)football coaches on here? That's hilarious.

Anyway, the easy answer is worse pursuit angles. But why haven't the angles been as sharp? Why is, what's almost always an excellenty coached and executing defense, having trouble executing some of the fundamentals? Considering the level of prior success for these veterans, that is a huge question.

There are some reasons that I could take a guess at.

But still a lot to work with for this D, so let's hope they finish with 3 strong games

Higgins out due to hammy? Cade is concussion issues and Harris is now “injured” and not sitting out to prep for the NFl. Supposedly. Whatever. 85 guys on scholarship. Play them and use them up on the field. That’s why you have that many.
