Penn State has been good on defense, the DL will cause some issues. Illinois couldn't run the ball at all. Iowa will need to be able to throw some.

Good points, defense needs to do great on 1st down and not give up hardly any or any big plays.

Yes, the Iowa passing game will be very important but hopefully it gets better to move the chain and make more room for runs

Their offense doesn’t look as dynamic as I feared but I just don’t see our offense putting together more than one drive. Defense is going to have to generate some turnovers or we’re going to need some long returns to have any chance.

And yet you think its the supporting cast or OC? Really? You've said it yourself. The OC has called enough plays and the "other players" have created enough openings. Yesterday it was clear that Cade (and his timing) were the issue. Anderson has to be wondering what he has to do. Once again he was 10 yards behind the defense, and it took Cade so long to decide to throw the ball to the end zone, that it got picked off. That was totally on #12, again, as were several other late decisions. I still think he'll get it together, (I hope anyway), but the question is when.

This is a big spread for this rivalry. Now, the last few years against top teams have not been kind to us. No excuses. We spent a ton of NIL money to get Cade, we have way upgraded the receiver corps, while we might have some injuries at RB we dominated in that phase of the game yesterday. Not worried at all there. Defense hel them to like 7 yards the entire 2nd half. It’s time to come up with a game plan on the offense and find our receivers early. They won’t beat us 35-10 if our offensive doesn’t turn the ball over and can keep us in the game.
