Things I learned watching the dual.
1. Ferrari is going to be a monster when the shirt comes off next year. Let the weight clear out and turn him loose. His combination of speed, strength, and flexibility is ridiculous. Looking every bit of a #1 guy.
2. Barr got big brothered by SB the same way Levi did in the finals as a freshman again O'Connor and Ferrari did by C*. 6 year seniors against freshman is boys against men. Doesn't take away from what the freshman will be but the need seasoning against the men.
3. Kennedy might be beat but he never quit. Battled for and escape to avoid giving up a major. Kid has moxy even if he's getting beat.
4. MM should be in Hodge consideration. Unfortunately it will go to Gable or the winner of Parker and Carter at 184. But if dominance is the determining factor what MM did to MC is straight up dominance. Mikey Caliendo is a darn good wrestler no shade his way. He just happened something other worldly.
5. No matter the score. Iowa Penn State is good for college wrestling. Both teams bring it.
6. Glad cameras and social media weren't a thing when I was a kid. I'm cutting Gabe slack for this reason.
