With a predictable offense and a damn good defense what seems to be the issues? I don’t think I buy the fact we are young, Joe Moore top offensive line, we are rather green at receiver, QB.. but running back was supposed to be world beating (and I for one claimed that they would) are we missing a piece of the puzzle with Butler out? Of course, no doubt. But as stale as this offense has been and the defenses are always putting 7/8/9/22/500 it seems in the box to stop the run what does one do? I guess you can only blame the coaching so much, but is it the players just not executing? Is the talent gap that much? Wrong schemes? I think it’s a mixture of all.. and the fact Coach K coached the same way he did in the 12-0 season as he is today’s team.. is it just bad bounces, being on the short end of the stick? I have been beating myself up over this in my mind trying to get to the bottom of this if all possible.. maybe it’s just luck? Who knows but would love to hear some thoughts from the fans here, good and bad even if I agree or don’t .. let’s hear it and let’s go HAWKS .. lots of season left to make us proud yet ..

Football is a simple game of blocking and tackling. We are not blocking to the level required and penetration into our backfield is a killer to running successful offense. Nothing else matters between personnel and schemes if you cannot stop penetration. There's no push from the OL in the run game.

I disagree with your assessment that the defense is 'damm good'. It's decent in spots but has plenty of issues. They have yielded a ton of yardage and not been able to get off the field a number of times putting the offense in bad spots. This is why when we run into a southern or west coast team with better skilled position talent we are surprised that we get pounded.... ala marquee bowl games.

Way too much hyperbole in your post. It makes you sound ridiculous with comments like Wadley being 'all world'. What does that mean? Football is a team game. Wadley needs blocking or he's not able to do what he is capable of. Don't overthink life.

Read again.. where did I single out Wadley as being “all world” I said the tandem of both butler and him were supposed to be unstoppable or whatever .. but definitely didn’t pinpoint Wadley out being all world - good post though.. I respect your opinion
