Thinking that the private schools are going to allow any $$ to be left on the table is, at best, naive. How so?
You're not naive, you're just woefully ignorant. And exceptionally stupid.

The tuition hikes have already happened in many places. Private schools getting hikes in revenue while families that can afford private schools get a significant discount. All funded by the taxpayers and to the detriment of public schools.I've posted this many times, it's the rural school districts that are losing out the most under Kim Reynolds and the current legislature. The kids of Dowling and IC Regina didn't need a leg up in life, but here we are subsidizing their private schooling. Meanwhile, there are ZERO mechanisms in place to make sure fraud and waste aren't rampant, and nothing was built into the law to keep schools from simply matching up a tuition raise to meet the state funding.
This is what happens when an out of state think tank writes the legislation, and it gets jammed through with little input. Kim and the legislature crammed this through knowing it was unpopular with the people.
Tuition hikes are happening because your President Biden has made inflation rampant. The tuition hikes have already happened in many places. No. That might be plausible if the tuition hikes were around 3%, but they aren't. It's a money grab that was easily predictable and will continue.Tuition hikes are happening because your President Biden has made inflation rampant.

You're a moron.
Just keep paying those taxes so the Gov has money to continue this program.No. That might be plausible if the tuition hikes were around 3%, but they aren't. It's a money grab that was easily predictable and will continue.

Sorry but you cant be taken seriously with any education discussion. You didnt even pause to do any research when you claimed no background checks were required of teachers. Move to another thread please and let the adults talk. You have nothing of value to offer here given your prior lies/inaccuracies.Fvck Governor Dim Reynolds.
Im all for the policy as written. FTR.Oh this thread is glorious. Even the most staunch of cons(save for the troll) has tucked their tail between their legs on this one, AND WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING?! LOFL
What are the background check requirements for all private schools?Sorry but you cant be taken seriously with any education discussion. Your governor’s $$ give-away to private / parochial schools is INFLATIONARY kin and by itself to the private school industry in Iowa…..Pres Biden has NOTHING to do with it, you moron!Tuition hikes are happening because your President Biden has made inflation rampant.
Uh, yeah, I know……^this fvcking guy lol.Im all for the policy as written. FTR.
Yeah, but think of all the owning of the libs that's going on. National Guard troops to the border! No more DEI and "pronouns" at the Regents schools!I've posted this many times, it's the rural school districts that are losing out the most under Kim Reynolds and the current legislature. The private school must be a better product than the public school. Also, the $4 Million additional is likely from a capital campaign from donors, not taxpayers. There is a private K through eighth grade school in town that as soon as this was passed raised its tuition to match the dollar amount and is now planning a $4 million addition due to the influx of taxpayer cash.
LOL. What measurements are you using to determine that the private school is better? The private school must be a better product than the public school. Also, the $4 Million addition is likely from a capital campaign from donors, not taxpayers.
There are more important things, but I truly think this is wrong.
interesting take...Milton Friedman should give back his nobel prize. Your insights on inflation are earth shattering. Thank you for enlightening the rest of us on the power of our governor to create money out of thin air.Your governor’s $$ give-away to private / parochial schools is INFLATIONARY kin and by itself to the private school industry in Iowa…..Pres Biden has NOTHING to do with it, you moron!
Yep, Dowling and Regina have opened schools in every rural school district. It has been a real money maker for them. Families are suffering like never before, Good grief..I've posted this many times, it's the rural school districts that are losing out the most under Kim Reynolds and the current legislature. The kids of Dowling and IC Regina didn't need a leg up in life, but here we are subsidizing their private schooling. Everybody should have a chance. Sometimes you get hit with both ends of the shitstick. It sucks but that's life. Heavy emphasis on life. The irony of this is that the "important things" are most likely abortion related. In that case aren't you cutting off your nose to spite your face? Make the birth mandatory to only give the child a shitty upbringing/education?
Wrong!Your governor’s $$ give-away to private / parochial schools is INFLATIONARY kin and by itself to the private school industry in Iowa…..Pres Biden has NOTHING to do with it, you moron!
How about graduation %, SAT scores, and % of students that go on to college.LOL. What measurements are you using to determine that the private school is better?
The nonsense you will spew to try and justify this grift is hilarious.
Some are looking for athletic advantages, some have kids that need coddling, some want to brag, some want to avoid diversity and a few care about religious education. The question the left hides from is “why do so many parents not want their kids in public schools?”
LOL. You truly are an idiot. How about graduation %, SAT scores, and % of students that go on to college.
i expected a simpleminded response like that from you.LOL. You truly are an idiot.
None of the above. Some are looking for athletic advantages, some have kids that need coddling, some want to brag, some want to avoid diversity and a few care about religious education.
I cater to the audience.i expected a simpleminded response like that from you.
You do the best you know how to do which is sad.I cater to the audience.
I dumb things down for you as far as I can. Apparently it's not good enough for you but I don't know how to converse at your level of stupidity. You do the best you know how to do which is sad.
Your public school education let you down.I dumb things down for you as far as I can. Apparently it's not good enough for you but I don't know how to converse at your level of stupidity.

Only if you're basing that on not being dumb enough to get through to you, of course.Your public school education let you down.
Some are just looking for the best education they can get with least distraction s from the riff raff no goals types. Some are looking for athletic advantages, some have kids that need coddling, some want to brag, some want to avoid diversity and a few care about religious education.
Said the same myself in another thread a couple days ago. Most conservatives have minds of their own and are able to dissent. They don't march in lock step like most liberals.
Yes, well to do families have children that tend to go to college. JFC.Some are just looking for the best education they can get with least distraction s from the riff raff no goals types.
Almost all pariochial kids get post HS education/service in military. Countless public school kids in certain cities do next to nothing after HS. Parents want their kids exposed to the least distractions so send them to schools where the majority of kids have 2 parents and are gainfully employed. It's called modeling
You're running out of excuses to use.Yes, well to do families have children that tend to go to college. JFC.
