Iowa stands little chance at making the playoffs

The fact your team barely moved up in the polls and is behind two teams each with only one loss (ND and Stanford) validates my point.

Iowa is a dark horse right now, and most likely will stay that way unless something miracle happens to change the perception that Iowa is a pretender (your weak sechduel is to blame for the lack of respect in the rankings).

Your point is actually null and void.

Unfortunately, for as small of a chance at making the playoffs as Iowa has, MSU's is astronomically smaller.

Maybe next year

Anyone want to point out that the only poll having anything to do with the playoffs doesn't come out until Tuesday and that one won't give an accurate picture for another 3 weeks.

This guy is obviously ignorant, but for entertainment I would like to point something out. If you really are a spartan fan, you WERE also ranked behind two teams with one loss (Alabama/Notre Dame)? We aren't ranked behind Stanford, or do you not understand that the CFP rankings are the ONLY rankings that matter? Lastly, the committee is going to drop you guys hard in the polls.

Just cause the butt hurt, no need to show your jealousy. Save the pansy ass comments for your shrink.

Our schedule up until this point wasn't weak. Do some research. Tougher than many, even MSU.
Sagarin has Iowa as the #2 ranked SOS among the 6 undefeated behind only Clemson.

And this little gem?

Opponents with a record of 3 games over 500 or better

@BTNMikeHall: CLEM- 5. Ala- 4. ND- 4. Mich St- 4. Iowa-3. Stan- 3. LSU- 3. OSU- 3. Flor - 2. Utah- 2. OK St - 1.TCU- 0. BAY- 0. Okla- 0. Shared via TweetCaster

The fact that the OP doesn't know that Iowa is ranked ahead of Stanford in the CFP makes him more than just a sour MSU fan. It makes the OP an idiot.

1. ND and Stanford play each other
2. If Stanford and IA win out, they would have to take IA or both, as we destroyed NW(Stanfords loss) by 30

Iowa is a dark horse right now (hey, thanks! :)), and most likely will stay that way unless something miracle happens to change the perception that Iowa is a pretender (your weak sechduel is to blame for the lack of respect in the rankings). (that sounds like it's everyone else's problem....)

I thought that was a good call last night, what about you?

He was actually talking about our sechduel being weak. Said nothing about our schedule.

The fact that Sparty hasn't replied tells you he is a troll. If a true Michigan State fan, then I really only have this to say........HAHAHAHAHAHA. why waste time trolling on an undefeated teams site when his own team just creamed their pants in Lincoln, and after being handed the mother of all gifts in Ann Arbor. I'm not surprised the Spartans lost, I am just surprised this isn't the second or third loss on there resume. Iowa wins out, they are in. The only way I see them being undefeated and not making it, were if Ohio State loses along the way twice and Michigan State backs into the BIG championship game. Talk about weakening Iowa's schedule.

... or that just a week ago, Stanford came within a missed FG at the end of the game to losing to a Washington State team that lost by more points to PORTLAND STATE earlier in the year too.

Stanford's not exactly consistent in destroying opponents they should have in addition to losing to Northwestern as well.

Yes, and part of my sig is also Spartan too. Was really hoping that Iowa and MSU would meet for the Big Ten conference championship which would have had either my dad's team or my team playing in the playoffs depending on who won that game. Now, referees f'd up that too, so I'm just as angry as you probably are. No reason to come out and crap on Iowa. You all should be focused on calling the Big Ten office, and the NCAA to revise its rules on the way these sort of penalty calls are made and are reviewed. I'm sure you could team up with a lot of Duke fans from a week earlier perhaps to help with that too, after they got screwed by not having some PI calls overturned that cost them a game too.

Wow. Lose a game and search other boards to post something to make YOU feel better. By the way there are two losses in front of us due to head to head. That moves us up to 6 and if Ohio State remains undefeated then we are in if we win. We moved up 2 and 3 spots this week. Good move actually.

Now what I am sad about is MSUs deep throat gag job. Of course you did not deserve to be undefeated to begin with so Karma baby. Now don't screw it up u beating Ohio State. Go away now.

Looks like that was his first post.. Am I seeing that right? doubt it's a spartan fan
As for it being his first post, that is true on this board. He many have thousands on the MSU board. With the new format, each site has a separate count.

Troll or no, there is definitely a situation where we get left out.

1. Clemson
2. SEC Champ
3. Undefeated Big 12 Champ
4. Stanford or Notre Dame

But all we can do is win. If I'm complaining because we went 13-0 and got left out of the playoffs I'll consider that a better year than the 5-7 I predicted coming in.

Post and then run away and hide?
