By the end of the Rutgers deal Penn State will still be the school from the East that Iowa has played the most. When that protected rivalry with Rutgers kicks in, that should help. LOL!!!
If Iowa is so weak, why does ISU keep losing to them? Must mean the Hawks are the better team.Except ISU is the 3rd strongest team on the Iowa schedule while Iowa is the 6th or 7th strongest on ISU`s schedule. Rinse and repeat every year
Just in case you missed it earlier. The best part about this article is the first picture shown of "Mr. Cyclone" making a catch. What happen to Lazard. Best cyclone receiver ever and didn't even get drafted or make an NFL team. I bet he wishes now he would of listened to the team out East and ND.When that protected rivalry with Rutgers kicks in, that should help. LOL!!!

Funny, that`s why the lineup on the OL changed from the Iowa game to the OU game. ISU`s games against OU, Akron, and TCU, were all plenty good enough to beat Iowa. We just caught a bad break with the cancellation.
Ya, ISU currently has the #2 SOS while Iowa is #41. Any teams ISU lost to that Iowa would have beat? No, didn't think so.
Enjoy the VERY WEAK b1g west schedule and no OSU, Mich, Mich State. When you play teams like Wisconsin, Penn State, you lose. Everyone knows this. Sorry![]()
Word.......Incarnate Word! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When that protected rivalry with Rutgers kicks in, that should help. LOL!!!
Important to point out that that 1912 title was *shared*. Isu has never won a title outright. So ISU's last conference title was 1912. In that year they lost to Iowa and finished the season with a win over Drake.
It's becoming more clear why Pollard tried getting Drake as the last game this season.
ISU played TWO conference games in 1912. Those titles are about as relevant as Major League Baseball when the pitcher threw underhanded.
Will they make giant flags for all of the championships they should have won if they weren’t screwed over by the refs, weren’t forced to play a game they weren’t ready for or forced to suspend players for the first 5 minutes? I can’t imagine that stadium holding all those flags. I guess they better try to expand againISU played TWO conference games in 1912. According to clown fans they count. I hear Pollard is in process of creating giant flags for their stadium as a way to intimidate opponents and fans with their dominant and rich tradition of excellence.

Maybe they also roll out Top 5 or Top 10 RPI flags. That would definitely make Trice stadium more intimidating and help mask all the open seats.According to clown fans they count. With sirens attached to them.
You are not very smart, are you? How does this comment coupled with ISU losing to Iowa help any argument from you?Except ISU is the 3rd strongest team on the Iowa schedule while Iowa is the 6th or 7th strongest on ISU`s schedule. Rinse and repeat every year

It must really suck to not be able to beat the 6th or 7th strongest team on your schedule. In fact you have one home win vs Iowa since 2007. Yet here you are flapping your gums again. Do you even think before posting?

Great point. I meant to say SOS.Maybe they also roll out Top 5 or Top 10 RPI flags. That would definitely make Trice stadium more intimidating and help mask all the open seats.
It would have to be SOS flags, because there is no way in Hell that ISU is finishing anywhere near the Sagarin top 10.
It's hilarious that there's a 10 page thread of Iowa fans trying to explain how much better Iowa is than Iowa State when just last year Iowa State finished above Iowa in the final rankings. And beat 3 top 25 teams.

You think 10 pages is hilarious? Go to Cyclone Fanatic and see how long the Iowa threads are there. It’s pathetic, and at least one of the same ISU posters post here babbling the same thing, crying about strength of schedule, if ISU had played their first full game, how weak the B1G West is etc. It's hilarious that there's a 10 page thread of Iowa fans trying to explain how much better Iowa is than Iowa State when just last year Iowa State finished above Iowa in the final rankings. Ya, when you resort to name calling, it tells me you've run out of the usual talking points over here, bla, bla, blaEnjoy your weak B1G west schedule, get beat by real teams(Wisonsin, Penn State), and then get lit up in the bowl games. And average 7-5, and talk about how great your program is. That about right?
ISU will resume to beating your shortly

ISU Auntie Ems (name given by ESPN writer) - on the wait list about to crack into ESPN's bottom 10. Thanks again ISU for really helping our SOS which is the almighty measure of a football team according to you.
Ya. And the Big12 has only lost so many non-conference games to the B1G. THIS YEAR!I do not agree this year. The fact that the Big Ten has lost so many games to non-quality opponents shows that the league, as a whole, is not that great defensively THIS YEAR. In the past, I would agree, but there is a ton of bad defense from Rutgers to Indiana to Illinois to Northwestern and so on.

It's hilarious how ISU fans pop their little microchub because they finished last season in the 'Others Receiving Votes' listing for once in half a century. Seriously funny stuff.
I just want one clown who likes to control the narrative to read that article and respond with a rebuttalI don't blame you for cherry picking, I do it to.

Another clown fan favorite tactic is to cherry pick selective time frames. Still waiting for why Nellie the Clown insists that the only games that matter in the Iowa isu series are the last 21.
Maybe dogs rule can answer. Or what is more likely is he will ignore or run away and hide.
What's hilarious is they tout last year as beating all these top teams but they lost to Iowa in Ames. They tend to forget that was Stanley's first road game as a starter and Iowa put up 44 on that stout defenseAnother clown fan favorite tactic is to cherry pick selective time frames. It's been 125 years since you won an outright title. That's the worst in the history of cfb and it's not even close. Clowns are historically in the top 5 worst programs of all-time and you want to compare your program to Iowa. The last 20 years is a pretty good sample for most of the fans on these boards since most are about that age. The point is Iowa fans think they are so much better than Iowa State when in reality over the last 20 years they are about 500 against ISU and the better team has not always won. As in last year. You do realize is has been 32 years since Iowa won an outright conference championship? Again most of you weren't even born yet.
