Yes, we're going to the Rose Bowl, but there's a Basketball Game tonight and the team deserves our support. Let's make some predictions!!!

ISU: 85
Iowa: 68

This is a great learning experience for our young guys and will prepare them well for B1G play, but the scoreboard will suggest otherwise. This game will pay dividends in Feb/Mar but we're not there yet. We'll beat a good team in the 1st/2nd round of the tourney while ISU loses early to Gardner Webb (don't sleep on Gardner Webb!).

I think this game hinges on Iowa's ability to dribble penetrate. Something we forgot about when we got behind to ND and Dayton. If we fall in love with the three, we lose. If we play aggressive penetrate and dish, we have a chance to pull it out.

Both fans I hope enjoy the season for their respective teams cause I see a drop off for both teams after this year. Amazing thing only 1 starter Jok (maybe 2 depending on Morris' decision to stay) will be playing in next years game.

I don't think ISU has any respect for Iowa as they really took us apart the last time we met. But I kind of think our guys will come to play so maybe that is our advantage. I think there is a chance we get them in foul trouble which I think we need to do to win.

Ughhhhh....... My feeling as well. Seriously, ISU has won like 50 in a row at home and there is little to no chance of that streak ending tonight. The good news is that it is a good experience for this Iowa team and will pay dividends later on in the season.

I think this is typical Iowa State going crazy on the Hawks. I'm afraid they come out bombing away from 3 and running and gunning and we will have a hard time staying with them. I wish it were different but I think if we only get beat by 15 will have been ok.
