Payton was 1/13 vs Utah St. I think he's made a couple this game.
Fran never benched Payton in Utah St. game and that sent the message to Payton to keep playing hero Ball.
This game might have been a tossup IF Payton had been left back in Iowa City.
AS it is, double figure lead for Michigan.
Remove Payton's 3-15 and Iowa is well over 50% too.
Drew was out the first 9 minutes of 2nd half after he brought them back in 1st half
This version of Peyton is what ogelsby was for 4 years.
Benching freeman and limiting him to < 20min is HUGE Fran coaching blunder

Iowa team as a whole is bad with help defense and rotating.
It's way worse. Ogelsby didn't shoot close to this kind of volume.

This game is so frustrating. We have played awful most of the game and then great the other part. All that puts us down 9 but hopefully .

Has it gotten so bad that the only black players Fran can get are Africans? None of them that I have seen are any good. Josh Dix and Owen Freeman are about the only decent players I have seen. The Sandforts are only valuable if they are hitting 3s.
