And the lower seeded teams that beat Iowa 2014-2017 all lost their next game. Usually blowouts.
Yeah, Iowa has really been tearing it up lately. You know, the team that blew a 16 point second half (and 9 points with less than a minute to go in regulation) lead to a bottom feeder.
So you don’t think there is any chance Illinois could beat Iowa badly? Hmmm.....
Based off of season results, no, I don't think they would boatrace us. Not sure how any fan, let alone an Iowa fan, would look at recent results and think, "man, Illinois would boatrace us based off of their 18 point loss to Indiana". In fact, I think it's idiotic to come to this conclusion. I think there's a better chance you have an intelligent post in the next 48 hours, than there would be of Illinois boatracing us.
Everyone is a horrible match up for us right now.
Even the simple minded know how a team does against one team does not translate to how they will do against another. To think there is zero chance Illinois could beat the Hawks badly is, in your words, “idiotic”. Ask the 2017 Ohio State football team about getting boatraced.

I think the scariest theme of this post is a 6 seed team is trying to decide whether an 11 or 14 seed is 'a better match-up'. If they don't beat either team by at least 6 on a neutral court, then the team is a mess. I will be at the game though so I hope its a good game!

NW is playing Illinois perfectly.....but can't make an open shot to save their soul. Hawks shouldn't be afraid of either of these 2 teams.

NW 5-24 from 3. Definitely hope we do not face them as odds are we are the remedy for cold shooting. The freshman whose name I cannot spell or pronounce for IL is a nice player. Dude has some sweet moves.
