The Iowa-Wisconsin showdown on Sept. 22 will kick off at 7:30 p.m., the university confirmed Monday.
The showdown which could ultimately decide the Big Ten Conference's West Division will be televised on Fox.
Yes, that's a night game at Kinnick Stadium against a nationally ranked team. Wisconsin (2-0) is No. 6 in the latest AP and Amway Coaches polls.
Yes, that means a long day of tailgating in the most anticipated regular-season game on the Iowa schedule.
Wisconsin is the prohibitive Big Ten West favorite, but Iowa was picked to finish No. 2 in a preseason media poll. The Hawkeyes have lost five of their last six meetings with Wisconsin, including a humbling 38-14 setback last year in Madison.
This also means back-to-back home night games for the Hawkeyes (2-0), who host Northern Iowa (0-1) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. That game will be televised by Big Ten Network.

Crowd would lose their shit if they came out in different unis that weren't leaked.
How much in advance were the unis announced for the OSU game last year? I can't remember.

It's probably just me, but after beating that school from Ohio in alternates last year, I'd much prefer spanking the Badgers in the traditional unis, although I'll admit I'd take a win no matter what uni it comes in.

they made a video announcement the day before or was it the morning of? My memory is a little foggy. Anway, it was well ahead of time.
It would be cool if they went through warm-ups in their regular uniforms and came out with the alt's.

As a history afficianado, I would like to see them come out in 1958 throwback unis. That was one of the best Hawk teams ever and it would be cool to rekindle that magic 60 years later.
The offense better have figured some things out by then or we are going to have problems. The D can only hold up so many times.
