Says a lot that they are getting some of these girls on campus. Landing a player over SC and Staley would be lunar, but you never know.

Lisa Bluder with the biggest ovation I can remember hearing at Kinnick today.
Greenway was at a Solon football game last night. I'd be shocked if she wasn't at the game today, though probably just with her family.
Why Solon? Could be all sorts of meaningless reasons, but I'd love to think she was hanging out with Levin.
*Jan and Raina's posts did say "guns" so that likely indicates more than just Byles visiting today. Maybe not Greenway, but certainly someone else. ??

Greenway posted a pic of herself at the game. I noticed that she is not wearing anything that would suggest she was going to an Iowa game, let alone cheering for them (only realized this bc she is the only person in the photo she posted *not* decked out in obvious gameday-wear).
Her ship has sailed in my eyes. Good luck to her at Duke. Her dad and mom are solid Hawks, doesn't mean she needs to be a Hawk.

Looks pretty serious, not sure she is having a good time.
I noticed the same look, but it is just a snapshot in time. Could just be her personality; also noticed the same thing in photos of Emilee Skinner's visit, yet seems as though we're still in contention there. Who knows?

This board has become gayer than me. Impressive.
360 division 1 women’s basketball teams ……maybe not 99% but let’s say 300 of them see Iowa as being rich. 358 of those would have loved to have been playing in the NCG last spring.
She still has the South Carolina offer pinned to the top of her X account & multiple reposts of comments about it. Don't see this one happening
I agree, but I appreciate the effort to get these young women on campus. With the portal a nice experience could be an asset down the road.

The fact that she even came to campus is a strong sign of growing cachet and mutual interest. Like with Bourrage, many young women feel so loyal to programs like South Carolina or so vehemently anti-Iowa that they would never entertain a visit to Iowa. Many more further believe Iowa is a flash in the pan. It may be unlikely that we get her, but her presence at Iowa should be a net-positive, hopefully influencing other elite athletes to respect and consider the program. Furthermore, the fact that she also visited Wisconsin demonstrates that she is open to considering non-Blue Bloods.
Like with any elite recruit (i.e., Skinner, Greenway, or McGaughy) it doesn't make sense to hang all our hopes on her -- that's just not how supply and demand works. The odds are rarely in anyone's favor. But we should be glad she came and it's okay to be hopeful. If Jan can convince a girl from Southern California with roots in Louisiana to choose Iowa over LSU, she can conceivably convince a girl from Wisconsin/Texas to choose Iowa over South Carolina.

Exactly this. Just a visit can put the program in great position down the road. Players need to do their shopping so they know what else is a fit if things don't work out with the first choice. Smart for the player and smart for the schools recruiting.

It's been a few years since I've flown there but based on Raina's latest IG story, I think she just landed in Vegas. She didn't specify, just showed the mountains from her window seat while landing. Definitely somewhere in the southwest if not Vegas. Thoughts? Can anyone confirm/correct me? Maybe swinging by the Aces game tonight?
At work so only viewing on my phone, but any chance of Salt Lake City? Thought I caught a glimpse of green at the beginning of the in air video, plus the water.

If you freeze the airline video right near the end you'll see lots of white around the lake. That's not snow or sand, it's salt.
Are you thinking a visit to Providence? Interesting that Utah Sate is 3 miles from there.

I think they may have all gone to SLC together. This morning Abby posted a pic of all 3 of them with a caption about a "Big road win" last night, including a ski ball graphic. It may suggest more than ski ball of course, but I don't wanna get ahead of things....wonder if it was their last big push with Skinner (like how they all visited Guyton shortly before she decided).
Update: Jan posted a photo of her holding an iced coffee from "Beans and Brews" and there is indeed a Beans and Brews at the SLC airport.
