I agree with Mr 1984. Best wrestling NIL design I’ve seen yet.
I do not know the answers to your questions. Not a fan of the NIL thing at all. But since it's here I hope the guys on the teams I root for make a buck here and there.Curiosity, does anyone know the financial payout (for wrestlers, et. al.) on these NIL marketing contracts/business arrangements. Recently purchased some University of Iowa athletic gear/items, seems a significant price rise. Just inflation, Covid, or other?
Disagree. You just have to wear them a dozen times and they are moneyI know a handful of people that would buy apparel. Problem is,they are put on Gildans. About the worst t shirt when it comes to comfort and fit
..it’s why I had new ones printed on fabric that is not 100% cotton. Gildan=cheap trash
Disagree, the first time I had my company printed shirts, they were Gildan. That was well over 5 years ago. They still suck and it’s why I had new ones printed on fabric that is not 100% cotton. Gildan=cheap trash
Correct. I don't wear blue jeans with fancy designs on the back pockets, I don't wear flat-billed hats, and I don't wear 100% cotton t-shirts.I know a handful of people that would buy apparel. Problem is,they are put on Gildans. About the worst t shirt when it comes to comfort and fit
Agreed, I've got a buddy in the apparel business and his Gildan shirts are top notch. I only wear soft shirts and throw out the scratchy ones, and some of the scratchy ones have been Gildan from other companies. I assume there must be different levels of Gildan shirts which would lead to the disparity in reviews of their shirts.the $18 shirt:
the $20 shirt:
- 5.5-ounce, 50 cotton/50 poly
- Made of 4.2 oz. 52% airlume combed and Ring spun Cotton, 48% Polyester
Do you live in eastern Iowa? Maybe check out Ironside Apparel in Cedar Rapids. I'm certain he prints on similar Gildan shirts in the store.
I agree the 100% cotton Gildan is trash, but they do make a better shirt these days if the printer is willing to pay.
