I think we know most of Junior roster pretty well. In 16u I would keep an eye on Ryker Graff in Greco. I think he makes a strong push next weekend.

Friendly wager? You get the odds. I’ll bet you both Garvin and Rathjen do better than Avila. Lets say Avila goes 3-2 and either of the other 2 go 3-2 it’s a push. $50 to HWC. Bye’s do not count as wins. Inj defaults do.

I can’t say what but yes he will heal and be fine. But it’s enough to keep him out now but will be good by season.

I think it’s just you. Since February he’s been at HS state, Folk Natl’s, and FS/Greco State in good form, Fargo was next.
This is a freak injury deal that will heal up and he won’t have any issues going forward.
In a recent interview with flo He said he just didn’t want to do it. Think big game had just finished a 28 day camp cycle. That’s probably why we didn’t see a lot of there guys at junior duals. Voelker went so good for him.
I don’t think very many of the Sebolt guys will wrestle Greco. Best shots at doubling up at Fargo for Juniors will probably be Tate Naak, Voelker, Avila, Porter, Bellis, Joel Jesourga and Barnes. I really liked Garvin’s chances of winning Greco and being a title contender in Freestyle but he’s not wrestling. I’d put the over/under at 4 for juniors doubling up.
Knight's kid? He's a tough one - I've seen a few of his matches. I "think" he's only an 8th grader
He will be an 8th grader again next year. Not judging, I get the concept for young kids or kids late hitting puberty (he doesn't fit either), or maybe even elite kids with big dreams (seems fitting). Or if serious academic struggles, I doubt that's the case.

Ya sounds pretty good. But if he is a maryland commit and Avila lost to him.. makes me wonder how hard to be after Avila. Not saying neither aren’t very good wrestlers. just being greedy
Flo had them ranked in the 70s and 80s for the class with Avila the lower ranked. Avila was filled out pretty well at a young age. Other guys have gotten stronger and he looks chunky at 145. Should be 138 now and a 141 college max.
Avila is not an Iowa type top recruit. And I say this being a fan of the Avila family.
