I assumed OP was wondering why Iran’s cruise missiles take hours to arrive.
They won't. Even so, cruise missiles are largely subsonic, so about 600 ish mph max. About 3 hrs.

US officials were aware on Thursday this was going to happen.
Russia directly benefits by less military support to Ukraine.
Because their audience is the Iranian people, and other Middle East Muslims.

The ball is in Bibi's court but Israel will probably say the retaliation attack was an act of war, if they want.
This is what drives me nuts. Israel just did what they did without informing the US. This isn’t a dem vs repub president issue. This is a close ally instigating a fight and dragging us into it. Neither trump or Biden could’ve prevented this. If you say otherwise you’re a fool.
Expect a really good answer from people that think somehow the US president should be able to maintain peace from all countries. Nevermind that we are in constant wars of some variety.
Bibi doesn’t respond, the entire conflict de escalates. But I don’t think Bibi wants that. We’ll see.

I haven’t figured out why the entire US government (seemingly) LOVES Israel so much.

Trump is just so unpredictable that they fear us. By that logic we should elect a bipolar president to keep everyone else in fear of us and in line.
