Is Florida Going To Have Some Iowa Weather?

You act like we're upset with having an historic snowfall event. While I'm sure some are, most people around here are enjoying it.
Just gotta tip your cap to Sleepy Joe for controlling the weather again before he left office.
Also, per my viewing of the Day After Tomorrow last night, I do think this may be less historic and a bit more common going forward.

I am unsure why in a country with so many delicious fish options, people intentionally eat catfish.
I have always enjoyed catfish. Smoked or blackened in particular. Plus, raising four mean ace hongry boys, mom could make the food budget stretch.
We used to spend time fishing at catfish ponds that charged, I think, by the pound caught.

Friends ā€œwinteringā€ on the Alabama Gulfā€¦.this AM she texted it was 9F and 6ā€ of snowā€¦ here in Iowa it was 19F and we have had 4ā€ of snow this winterā€¦we just finished pushing less than an inch of fresh fallen snow from our drive and sidewalksā€¦So far, so good (for Ioway)ā€¦

Well, what didn't melt today will still be there in the morning. It's already 23Ā° here. The golf course might not open until Saturday.
Still lot of white here in Tallahassee. Ours is a bastardized conglomeration of fine snow and sleet pellets so but slower to melt. Will for sure have shady places with snow on ground until Saturday based on forecast, just like Trad predicted.

Prepared properly, itā€™s one of the best eating fish out there. There is a reason humans on every continent enjoy it in many forms.

Flaky, sweet flesh.

We are seeing highs in the 50ā€™s during the day and balls ass cold at night. Yesterday it was raining all day. At night felt like 38 degrees. Told the wife weā€™re moving to the keys like right now. Fvck this shit.

I drove over a friends house at sunset, was really surprised how much was still on the roads. I get it in neighborhoods in the shade, but Iā€™m following paths through the ice on capital circle SE before turning on St Augustine.

Mostly gone in my front yard, but it gets direct sun from 10am to sunset.

With all the runoff freezing tonight I wonā€™t be going out in the morning.

It was 20 degrees here this morning, so no melting is currently taking place. Everything is still covered except under some trees and along the roof's drip line. Just like Trad said.

*What do think the odds are of @The Tradition coming back to this thread and admitting he was wrong? I'd place it at 0.00001%. There has to be a chance he's man enough to do it, right?
