Tally has lots of awesome hills. Since it only snows a couple of times a century, they don't have lots of sleds...so college kids have to make due with what's on hand. Turns out, a folding table makes a pretty good substitute for a bobsled. My boys are in there somewhere, they sent me the video in the middle of the night....

What happened to thieving food trays from the cafeteria? That was the go to at U of Iowa back in the day. SLedding down Bloomington St. on a tray was the bomb! I guess FSU students didn't realize that was doable.
I used a pool float and the neighbors used a boogie board. I do lime three tray though.

Somewhere between 2-3", but its ice. Tried to stick the tape measure in what was on the table on the deck and it was a 'no go'.
Kids are sledding this AM at the retention pond. Plenty of deer and raccoon tracks in the woods behind the house.
Gotta make do in the back yard. I was talking about the kids using a sofa and a folding table for sledding.

You act like we're upset with having an historic snowfall event. While I'm sure some are, most people around here are enjoying it.
Walton County schools were closed for the rest of the week. Many roads are still icy and snow covered with no equipment to clear them.
12:15 cst. 29°/23°. The snow has melted on the road in front of my house but nowhere else.

That's nothing. My son goes to Iowa and they sent out an Hawk alert essentially saying, wind chills will be as low as -30F, bundle up.
Are you saying that UI doesn’t care about your son?
Other than receiving the checks I cut them, I think they care most about shifting liability should something bad happen as a result of the cold.
